Why study with AIM?

Study on your own terms

With monthly or quarterly intakes, AIM Business School’s MBA+ is offered online, on-campus, or through blended learning, allowing you to mix both on-campus and online study modes depending on your unit selection. Plus, you can progress towards the MBA by completing it in three stages, ensuring you can take a break while gaining a postgraduate qualification along the way. When we say study on your own terms — we mean it.

AIM Business School has easily accessible, centrally located Lounges with state-of-the-art facilities in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, and Sydney, and our online component and virtual campus is readily accessible via myABS.

Best-in-class Faculty

Our Facilitators are highly qualified and experienced business professionals. They are chosen based on their senior management experience, appropriate postgraduate and teaching qualifications, and their commitment to stay abreast of the latest developments in their area of specialisation. Be inspired by practitioners with real-world, practical experience who can relate to students’ personal professional needs, and benefit from their extensive business knowledge to improve upon your own leadership and management abilities.

Structured and Spaced Learning

Research has found that the most effective learning occurs in short, spaced out 15–20 minute periods. It is for this reason that the individual weekly lessons of the MBA+ has been structured into easily digestible segments. As our students are mostly full-time employed professionals, being able to access and complete learning at any point of the day, whether that’s on their phone on the train or sitting in the comfort of their own home, is of utmost importance.

Apply what you learn directly in the workplace
At AIM Business School, we believe students gain the ultimate return-on-investment through assessment-based learning that is immediately applicable to their role. We’ve removed the added stress of exams to ensure the MBA+ is based on the practical application of learning. Students become business consultants and can align their unit selection based on key projects in their organisation while studying with a diverse cohort of experienced managers and leaders from a range of sectors.

“AIM Business School’s MBA+ puts real value into businesses by assessing the practical application of students learning in their workplace, rather than assessing learning via exams. While effectively consolidating our students’ learning, this also helps to improve their own work practice while providing an immediate benefit to their business or organisation. At AIM Business School, we’re able to inject practicality into our MBA+ teaching by using experienced business people with strong academic credentials as facilitators, which further adds to the real-world value our programs offer.” Dean of AIM Business School, Dr Ehsan Ahmed.

mySupport – supporting you throughout your study journey
At AIM Business School, students are provided with complimentary access to a variety of support functions including online study support, academic support, personal assistance program, essay writing help, and more. We know balancing study, work, and life commitments can be a handful at times, so by providing a range of support options we ensure you’ll never be studying alone.

MBA+ Gold Card
From the day students start studying, they will receive a personalised Gold Card with five years of access to complimentary short courses on-campus and online to enhance their professional growth, coaches to make the most of their studies and their professional development opportunities, and lounges across the country.

First Australian MBA program to invest in Mindfulness
AIM Business School has developed a pioneering Mindfulness elective as part of the MBA+. Mindfulness implemented by senior leaders and set in an organisational context can be highly beneficial, driving focus and impact throughout the organisation and improving an individual’s health and wellness.

AIM MBA+ Online Course Structure

AIM’s MBA+ lets you build at your own pace towards a postgraduate qualification — Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, or MBA — with flexibility built in at every stage. Able to blend into even the busiest of schedules, the MBA+ means that work-life balance no longer needs to be a barrier to postgraduate study and career growth.

Whether you’re studying on-campus, online, or a blend of both, you determine the way you want to study at AIM Business School.
